If you happen to have any Gold remaining after May 8th will be converted to in-game items. The in-game store will close permanently on July 17th. Microtransactions, represented by Gold that can be earned in-game or purchased with real money for obtaining different bundles, War Chests (aka loot boxes) and boosts, will go away on May 8th. Monolith Productions is finally fulfilling a request that it’s fans have had since before Middle-Earth: Shadow of War released – it’s removing microtransactions and shutting down the in-game store.
